I can't believe my ears! Platinum-selling UK singer/songwriter/fashion designer/model/presenter Lisa Maffia is BACK bitches! Now, Scuse me while I bust out my NOW That's What I Call Music! Volume #55 and BLAST her 2003 hit "All Over." So Solid Crew's reigning QUEEN, Ms. Lisa Maffia will release her new single, "Don't Stop The Music" on June 10th (iTunes UK).  It's like she never left us at all!

Lisa Maffia is back in a big way on "Don't Stop The Music," a drivin' R&B-garage banger with bass for days.  Lisa's vocals sound better then ever wailing over that thumping bassline, alongside the soulful R&B stylings of newcomer Tyler Daley (Lisa's latest signee to Maffia Recordz), Romeo (of So Solid Crew).  "Don't Stop The Music" is a welcome return and a fantastic tease of what's to come on Maffia's forthcoming solo album, due out sometime this year.

In the recently dropped "Don't Stop The Music" clip, Maffia reunites with bandmates, Romeo and Asher D for a kidnapping caper.  Dripping with head-to-toe FIERCE, Lisa Maffia looks gorgeous as she ever did. WERK girl.

As a member of So Solid Crew in the early 2000s, Lisa Maffia racked up five Top 20 hits, including the platinum-selling "21 Seconds" and the platinum album They Don't Know.  After going solo, Maffia continued her ferocious chart reign by landing two Top 10 singles, including the platinum-selling "All Over" which debuted at #2 on the UK Singles Chart, spending three weeks in the Top 10.  Follow up single, "In Love," peaked at #13, while her debut album, First Lady (via Epic Records) landed on the UK Albums Chart at #44, selling 97,000 copies.

After taking a bit of a break from music, Lisa returned full force as a featured vocalist on Dave Spoon's 2007 electro house JAM "Bad Girl (At Night)," which peaked at #4 on the UK Dance Charts and #36 on the Singles Chart.  "Don't Stop The Music" marks the official return of Lisa Maffia after 5 years away and I couldn't be more excited!
